Dr. Amelia Bonea, research fellow at the HCTS, was a guest on the multilingual podcast of the NewsEye H2020 project, an interdisciplinary undertaking in the Digital Humanities aimed at developing new concepts, methods, and tools to improve access to historical newspapers. Bonea´s talk on “Telegraphic Practices in 19th Century India” addressed the research themes she developed in her doctoral research and monograph The News of Empire.
