Conference: „Ambivalent Times“ in Heidelberg

From December 1 to 3, the conference „Ambivalent Times: The Myceanaen Palatial Period between Splendor and Demise“ will take place in Heidelberg. The Karl Jaspers Centre will be hosting the third day of the conference. The purpose of the conference is to examine the period between about 1400 and 1200 BC, which is often considered the pinnacle of Mycenaen Greece, in all its ambivalence. The event is ogranized jointly by fromer Cluster co director Prof. Joseph Maran and Prof. Diamantis Panagiotopoulos from the Department of Ancient Studies at Heidelberg University and in cooperation with the Badisches Landesmuseum, Karlsruhe and the Greek Ministry of Culture and Sports.
