HCTS co-director Prof. Monica Juneja is participating in the international conference "Burckhard.Renaissance - Internationale Tagung zum 200. Geburtstag von Jacob Burkhardt," which takes place at the University of Basel from May 24-26. It was organized by the university's Department of History and Department of Art History as a interdisciplinary conference to take new approaches to the works and thoughts of cultural and art historian Jacob Burckhardt. Prof. Juneja will give a talk on "To read Culture Through Art. Burckhardt in the 21st Century".
