On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor (7 December 1941), national and international media representatives from the Tagesschau, The Daily Telegraph, La Repubblica, and others interviewed Dr. Takuma Melber, coordinator of the Master’s in Transcultural Studies at the HCTS and author of the book Pearl Harbor. Japan’s attack and America’s entry into World War II. Takuma Melber has also recently published two articles about two prominent Japanese protagonists of the Pearl Harbor attack, Fuchida Mitsuo and Sakamaki Kazuo, in the SPIEGEL and The Wall Street Journal.
