Prof. Barbara Mittler, Acting Director of the Cluster „Asia and Europe in a Global Context,“ will continue in her position until October 31, 2019, when the Cluster officially ends. Prof. Dr. Harald Fuess, the professor of Cultural Economic History at the Heidelberg Centre for Transcultural Studies, took up the Acting Directorship of the institute on October 1, 2019 and will stay in that capacity until September 30, 2020.
