From March 27–29, the Heidelberg E-Science Days 2019 titled "Data to Knowledge" took place at the Neue Universität. On Thursday, Matthias Arnold, Hanno Lecher, and Sebastian Vogt presented the OpenDACHS project during the event´s poster session.
OpenDACHS is the expansion of the citation repository for all CATS researchers. It establishes workflows to generate a sustainable archive of cited online sources. The Digital Archive for Chinese Sudies (DACHS) collects and preserves web citations and web resources relevant for Chinese Studies, with special focus on social and political discourse. The main aim is to make the collected data available for researchers and scholars in the future.
