PD Dr. Michael Falser, previously leader of project D18 “Picturesque Modernities” at the Cluster, is currently Professeur Invité at Sorbonne University Paris. There, he will give a lecture at the Centre André Chastel on March 9 presenting his forthcoming monograph Angkor Wat. A Transcultural History of Heritage. His lecture “Angkor Wat - Patrimoine transculturel ou Global Art History?” focuses on the modern transcultural heritage history of the 12thcentury Cambodian temple of Angkor Wat, while also engaging in an interdisciplinary dialogue with Falser’s colleagues.
