Dr. Markus Viehbeck, Assistant Professor for Buddhist Studies at the HCTS, was appointed as Postdoctoral Research Fellow for the Department of South Asian, Tibetan and Buddhist Studies at the University of Vienna. He will take up this new position in Mai and work on the project “Kanjur Sammlungen in Grenzgebieten Tibets”, which is led by Prof. Helmut Tauscher. The project documents Tibetan Buddhist canonical literature und provides openly accessible Resources for Kanjur and Tanjur Studies.
