PD Dr. Kerstin von Lingen, former Junior Research Group Leader at the Cluster, accepted a position as guest professor at the University of Vienna. For one year, she will be teaching and researching at the Department of Contemporary History with a focus on the research area "Dictatorship, Violence and Genocide". Lingen was chosen for this position due to the research she conducted with her Junior Research Group on on Allied War Crimes Trials against Japanese in the aftermath of the Pacific War, and the Impact of decolonization during this process of reframing post war order.
