On Thursday, July 6, Dr. Cathrine Bublatzky, Assistant Professor at the Chair of Visual and Media Anthropology, will give a talk about "Fiction in Documentary Photography and Its 'Making of Iran'". The lecture is part of the exhibition and international symposium "Imaging a 'Middle East'", which focuses on new forms of Orientalisms in images and media production. The two-day event is organized by the Institute for Cultural Inquiry (ICI) and the Forum Transregionale Studien and will take place from July 6-7 at ICI, Berlin.
