On May 30, at 6 pm, Prof. Rajan Gurukkal from the Centre for Contemporary Studies at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore will give a lecture entitled „Overseas Exchange Relations as Cross-Cultural Communication and Community Formation“ at the Karl Jaspers Center in room 212. The lecture will deal with forms of exchange, being communication and building up of social relations, by focusing on four cultural communication phases in the history of maritime exchange relations.
