PD Dr. Michael Falser is invited to give a lecture at the Center for Southeast Asian Studies, Kyoto University (CSESAS) with the title “Angkor Wat: From Jungle Find to Global Icon. A Transcultural History of Heritage” on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. The talk will be co-organised by the Institute for Liberal Arts and Sciences (ILAS) of Kyoto University. Michael Falser is project leader of project D18 “Picturesque Modernities,” project leader at the Chair of Global Art History and currently a visiting professor at the Fakulty of Letters, Kyoto University.
