On Friday, February 10, Swetlana Torno will participate in a research colloquium on migration at the Institute of Public Health at Heidelberg University. Her lecture is based on her doctoral project and focuses on „Care obligations and practices in the context of labor migration in Tajikistan“. Swetlana Torno is a Ph.D. student in the Junior Research Group "Demographic Turn in the Junction of Cultures", which is part of project C16 “Unfolding Central Asia” at the Cluster of Excellence “Asia and Europe in a Global Context”.
